GermanFest is conveniently located off I81 near Woodstock, Strasburg and Toms Brook in Virginia. Watch for our signs at Exit 291. (Scroll all the way down to see a real-time video of I81 at this exit.) From the exit you'll go towards the mountain, between the truck stops. Just follow the GermanFest signs.

*Although the official mailing address is Toms Brook, most people call this area Mt. Olive.

From Winchester, VA and points North of Toms Brook

1. Take I81 South towards Roanoke.

2. Go 22 miles to Exit 291, Toms Brook.

3. Turn RIGHT at the stop sign onto Mt Olive Road/Rt. 651 and go just over a mile (1.4 mi).

4. Turn LEFT at the stop sign onto Back Rd/Rt. 623 & go half a mile.

5. Turn RIGHT at the entrance to GermanFest.

From Washington DC & Northern Virginia

1. Take I66 to Exit #1A and merge left onto I81 South towards Strasburg.

2. Go 9.2 miles on I81 South to Exit 291 (Toms Brook) and follow directions 3-5 from above.

We're 74 miles from the intersection of I66 and the Washington Beltway (I66 Exit 64). There are no traffic lights between this intersection and GermanFest.

From South of Toms Brook - Woodstock, Edinburg, Harrisonburg, Staunton

1. Take I81 North to Exit 291 (Toms Brook)

2. Turn LEFT at the stop sign onto Mt Olive Road/Rt. 651 and go just over a mile (1.4 mi).

3. Turn LEFT at the stop sign onto Back Rd/Rt. 623 & go half a mile.

4. Turn RIGHT at the entrance to GermanFest.
