The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) interprets the art, history, and culture of the great valley for which it is named. This regional museum complex in Winchester, Virginia, includes a historic house dating to the eighteenth century, six acres of spectacular gardens, and a museum designed by internationally recognized architect Michael Graves.

The Old Court House Civil War Museum is a historic building with graffiti from both Northern and Southern soldiers which also houses a nationally recognized collection of over 3,000 Civil War artifacts.  Situated on the Loudoun Street Walking Mall in Old Town Winchester, Virginia, this Georgian style court house was used as a hospital, barracks and prison by both sides during the War.

These religious settlers came looking for limestone-rich land and religious freedom. This historical society will be a great help to anyone interested in the county.

Basket Making

Baskets were a necessity in the past; different sizes and styles for different task. Simple chairs were farm-made, having seats of cane or split-oak.  Presented by Virginia Stultz and Jean Whetzel.
