Richard Stickles and Family

A thank you to Mr. Richard Stickles and members of his family for volunteering to be involved in our 4th annual Germanfest. They are sharing some of their private collection of farm implements as well as bringing some oxen, chickens, and a horse to our event.  They will be having several farming demonstrations throughout the day.

Massanutten Antique Tractor & Gasoline Engine Club, Inc.
Bill Shrum, representative
www.massanuttenantiquetractor.com
The Massanutten Tractor Club is back for a second year as an integral part of Germanfest. Thanks to their participation last year, we were able to utilize the George Hottel homesite for the first time (in addition to the George Keller site).  We are again, offering vendors and demonstrators on both sites. The tractor club’s 30 passenger wagon transports festival goers to and from each site while soaking in the view of our natural resources that our 392 acre property incompasses.  They also provide a barrel-train ride (weather permitting) for small children’s enjoyment. We thank them for their ongoing support of Germanfest and HKMI.
