Be A Sponsor!
You are invited to sponsor the 5th annual GermanFest, being
held on September 12, 2015 in Shenandoah County, Virginia.
Featuring German food, live music, educational events, and an arts and crafts fair, GermanFest will be an OktoberFest-like event celebrating the Germanic heritage of the Shenandoah Valley, held on our historic 390-acre property near Mt. Olive (2 miles from I81 Exit 291, Toms Brook). A detailed description is included in the Sponsor Letter which you can download below.
Our marketing for the festival will focus on Shenandoah, Frederick and neighboring counties and will also reach into Northern Virginia. In the summer we’ll start marketing through Facebook and the Internet. Initial numbers show that we can easily reach – via Facebook social ads – more than 150,000 people within a 50 mile radius of our event. GermanFest will be listed on the calendar of events of every major print and electronic publication in the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia. Our previous GermanFests earned media coverage in every local newspaper, as well as several TV and radio stations. Despite mildly adverse weather conditions, previous GermanFests drew crowds numbering well over 1,000. Additionally over 100 volunteers gave their time.
Sponsoring GermanFest makes sense for your business if your customers include local families and adults who have an interest in history and/or outdoor events. Your name or logo can be part of our festival advertising depending on the sponsorship level you select, as shown in the sponsorship table in the Sponsor Letter. The Shenandoah Germanic Heritage Museum has designed sponsorship packages so your business will have a variety of opportunities to be seen by attendees before, during and after the festival, with levels suitable for any budget.
If you’ve been curious about social media advertising but haven’t had the time or budget to invest in your own campaign, this is a great opportunity to get your company’s name in front of potential customers you may never reach through traditional advertising. With our Internet advertising starting in the summer, the sooner you decide on sponsorship, the sooner you can participate in these campaigns.
